It is with deep regret and sorrow that we must notify Parents, teachers, staff, students, Old Scholars, and Friends of Brummana High School that Old Scholar and graduate of 2023, Mariana Tanaka Abdul Hak, passed away on Saturday, 16th May, in Rio de Janeiro, as the result of a road accident.

May her eternal soul rest in peace.
Mariana was an exceptional student and a graduate of the International Baccalaureate programme who had studied Business in Paris. She had gone on to Brazil to join her parents there and to pursue her career, now tragically cut short.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time of deep sadness. We shall remember her.
